Are you tired of seeing messages like:
Thank you for taking the time to report something that you feel may violate our Community Standards.
Reports like yours are an important part of making Facebook a safe and welcoming environment.
We reviewed the page you reported for containing hate speech or symbols and found it doesn't violate our Community Standards.
Especially when it really, clearly, does?
Right now we have an opportunity to bring attention to this problem in a big way. In May international politicians, media and civil society leaders will gather for the largest international conference on antisemitism. The Global Forum for combating anti-Semitism 2015 (GFCA). We have the opportunity to contribute to a major report that will be launched at this conference, in front of this important audience.
The Fight Against Hate online reporting tool, launched in Sydney last December, will be used by people around the world to gather data for this major report. You can get involved throughout March by submitting antisemitic items which Facebook, YouTube and Twitter are failing to remove. In April OHPI will verify these items and compile the report.
As part of this Spotlight on Antisemitism Campaign, OHPI will post regular updates on the volume of antisemitism that has been gathered so far. You can track the campaign's progress via Facebook and Twitter. Please help spread the word and get others involved, the more examples we gather, the greater impact this work will have… and we only get one chance to make that impact felt!
