Condition of Use
Binding Contract:
By using and/or visiting the Fight Against Hate site, which is owned, maintained and operated by the Online Hate Prevention Institute, you signify your assent to these terms of service which incorporate ther terms of use and privacy policy. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use this site. The Terms of Service constitute a binding agreement between You as a user ("you") and the Online Hate Prevention Institute as the operation of Fight Against Hate ("the service"). By using the service you agree to be bound by these terms of service. You are only authorised to use the service if you consent to be abide by the terms of service and any applicable laws.
Modification of Terms:
The Online Hate Prevention Institute may modify these terms of service from time to time and such changes will take effect once these terms are updated on the Fight Against Hate Website.
Age Limitation:
Fight Against Hate is an online hate monitoring system, by using the service you represent and warrant that:
- all registration information you submit is truthful and accurate
- you will maintain the accuracy of such information
- you are 18 years of age or older
- your use of the Wix Services does not violate any applicable law or regulation
If you are under 18, please ask a trusted adult to register and report any online hate you have found on your behalf.
Services:
Subject to full compliance with the Terms of this Use Agreement, the Online Hate Prevention Institute shall provide certain services. The services may include, but are not limited to, receiving, storing, processing, retrieving, sharing, linking and otherwise communicating information. This information will include, but is not limited to, reports of online hate and the categorisation of such hate, as well as information related to users of the system and people and organisations who are able to take action to help remove, analyise, research and respond to hate. The service includes the use of any means of communication provided by Fight Against Hate.
User Responsibility:
You accept sole responsibility for your use of the service. You will not use the service for any unauthorised or illegal purpose. You will be responsible for ensuring that you do not violate any laws of your jurisdiction. You will not seek to manipulate or 'game' the system. You will not upload or transmit viruses, worms or any other destructive code through the system. You shall not seek to reverse engineer, decompile, or disasseble any part of the system. The Online Hate Prevention Institute shall have the right to disable or delete your account and to delete or modify any data you have stored in the system at any time at its sole and exclusive discression and with no liability. If you account is disabled or closed, or your data is deleted or modified you shall not be entitled to any reinbursement of any money paid or donated to the Online Hate Prevention Institute.
Ownership of Content:
Users hold the copyright in any original content submitted to Fight Against Hate system but grant the Online Hate Prevention Institute a gloabl, perpetual, transferable license to use and publish the content and to sub-license others to do the same.
Warranty and Disclaimers:
You agree that your use of the service shall be at your sole risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Online Hate Prevention Institute, its officers, directors, employees, and agents disclaim all warrenties, expressed or implied, in connection with the service and your use of it. In no event shall the Online Hate Prevention Institute, its officers, directors, employees, or agents be liable to you for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, punative, or consequential damages whatsoever resulting from your use of the service. You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless the Online Hate Prevention Institute, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilties, costs, debts and expenses arising from your use of the service both during and after the conclusion of this contract.
Privacy Policy
Your IP address is used by the service for security purposes, you agree it may be released to law enforcement or other parties at the Online Hate Prevention Institutes discretion if it appears to be connected to a breach of these terms of service.
With the exception of your IP address, your personal information will only be released to third parties by OHPI with your consent, or where required by law, or where in the sole discretion of the Online Hate Prevention Institute there are public safety grounds requiring the release of the information to law enforcement or a relevant government agency.
By joining a reporting team for the service you consent to share your personal information with this team. By indicating that you are happy for certain classes of people, organisations, government departments or agencies to see your reports you are granting consent for OHPI to share your personal details with the parties you have indicated.
