Registering with Fight Against Hate

If you have already registered to use our software, you can read our guide on Reporting in Fight Against Hate.

You can also sign in directly from the homepage using your Facebook account instead of registering through FightAgainstHate.com.

1. Accessing the registration form

   Click Register [top right] to start the user registration process.

   

2. Registering with Fight Against Hate

   

   Input the email address you wish to register with.

   Fill out the CAPTCHA to confirm you are not a spambot.

   Click Submit to register your application.

   You should see the following message display:

   A confirmation email has been sent to <your email address>

   Thank you for your interest in Fight Against Hate.

   Please check your inbox for confirmation instructions.

   If you do not receive a confirmation email shortly,
   check if your junk mail filter has marked it as spam.

3. Confirmation email

   You should receive the following email in your inbox:

   Thank you for your interest in Fight Against Hate.

   Please confirm your registration by going to the following web address:

   <your email will show a unique link for you to access to complete your registration>

   You should receive the email shortly after registering your application.

   If you do not receive this email, check that it hasn't been placed in your 'spam' or 'junk mail' folder.

4. Completing your registration

   Go to the link provided in your confirmation email.

   If the link is valid and has not already been used to create an account, then you will be presented with the options for completing your registration.

   

   Fill in your details and click Submit User Details to complete your registration.

   * Location and gender are not essential, and can be updated later in your user profile, but are useful for us to determine what demographics are encountering particular types of hate content.

   It is essential that you select a valid username, password and display name to be able to activate your account.

   An error will display if a user by that name already exists, in which case you will need to select a different username.

5. Congratulations

   Once you submit your valid user details, a status message will confirm that your user profile has been created.
   You will then be directed to login using your new username and password.

Now that you have registered, you can proceed to Reporting in Fight Against Hate.
